I'm sick!
When you're sick, you don't have to keep track of what you eat, right??? I've been eating ice cream b/c it feels good on my throat. No, seriously!!!
This blog is intended to simply give us a place to journal our thoughts, ideas, progress and frustration while we try to be healthy (and some of us, lose weight). We'll all find it encouraging to hear others' ideas, successes and sometimes failures. Let's fuel each others' motivation to be healthy and in shape so we can be active and involved women for as many years as God gives us!

What about a healthier alternative to ice cream? Like chicken broth or tea?
Chicken broth is good. I don't care for tea. My mom "helped me out" by dumping the ice cream before she and the rest of my family went to lower MI. I was disappointed at first, but glad she did it, for my sake.
The No Sugar Added Fudgsicles are really good & only 40 calories and 1 g. of fat in each one!
Phew! I'm glad your mom threw the ice cream out! I was worried when I read your entry, then read your previous one where you said you lost 5 pounds (horray! by the way). You don't want to undo all of your hard work! :)
That said, I need some serious help getting back into a healthy routine here! My little bro is here visiting, which involves cooking good food and such. Yikes.
Try jello or non-fat pudding. Yogurt will help too. There are lots of soft cold things to eat that won't put on the pounds. Don't give yourself any excuses! You can do it!
I just found out that I love Fat Free pudding!!!! Great idea, Kelly.
